"Cloud of Witnesses" is a name given to the members of the "Mark Schultz Message Board". The members were given the opportunity by Mark and his Administrative staff, to submit as many names as possible that reflected Mark, his ministry, and the members of his Web Community. Once all of the names were submitted, Mark, while still very busy with the tour, chose 10 names out of the names submitted. Then, the "boardies" were allowed to vote one time for their choice of a name. The one with the most votes, obviously won. That is how we became "Cloud of Witnesses."
The message board on Marks website, is more than just a simple message board. To the "Clouds", it is a place where they can go to talk about Marks music and the effects that it has on them, to post reviews regarding concerts that they have attended of Marks, to fellowship with others regarding their faith in the Lord, to pray for and encourage each other, and most important, to witness to others about Christ and to get others to find salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The message board is looked at by the "Clouds" as a home, Marks Home. It consists of many rooms, Prayer and Praise, Marks appearances in different states, the posting party room, and the most used, the Goodnight Post, and many many more.
The reason they call it "Marks House" is because they all feel like family. They have all become very close in their relationships with the other members. There is definatly a very strong bond between them all. They have all grown in their faith of Christ, and some have become more clear of what God can do in our lives. There have been many many answers to prayer. So many praises, and so many struggles, the desire to know more about the God we all choose to serve. It is a very special place to be daily. I know this, because I am a very active member of the message board.
We all want to thank Mark for his relationship with Christ, his ministry, and for allowing us to have a Christ-Like place where we can go and KNOW that we are loved by others. There is no way possible to show Mark how much we truely do appreciate and love him.
And we want to thank Christ for allowing Mark to have his web site created so that we may all fellowship with others about both Mark and Christ.
